Commissions

In case it wasn't clear enough on the previous page, commissions get my absolute top-of-line work. Because of this, I regret that I can only accept one commission at a time. Since commissions get top priority, though, they get finished fairly quickly.

Have you read the Terms of Use?
By eliciting a commission, art trade, or request, you are agreeing to these terms as they are stated.

I think I've covered pretty much everything that needs to be covered below. I'll still entertain questions, but please read to see if your question has already been covered.

Prices
Please note that these prices are for non-commercial images only, as explained in the Terms of Use. If you require an image to be used in a commercial endeavor, contact me for pricing, as depending on the project and use pricing will vary. All prices are in US dollars. Sizes are approximate. These prices DO NOT INCLUDE ORIGINAL HARD COPIES!

** Digital painting is one-size-fits-all. The base canvas is 8" x 10" at 300 dpi, but canvas is modified during the artistic process depending on need, so final size varies. In addition, digital paintings can be printed at various sizes. A 300dpi 8" x 10" piece printed at 150dpi would be 16" x 20".
° Computer color. Default is rough painted style. Flat color costs half as much.
Add $7 to upgrade coloring to print quality (default is web quality).

I regret that I am unable to do anything besides what is listed here. (Sorry, no markers, acrylics, etc.) Prices are subject to change without notice, but once the price has been agreed upon (prior to the artwork's completion), price will not change.

Style Options - ALL LINKS BELOW BROKEN FOR NOW, SORRY!
If you have particular style you'd like me to try and emulate, please include reference pics and I'll do my best. If not, you can either pick and choose from the options below or allow me to pick based upon what I envision for the project. The more freedom I have, the more likely I am to accept the commission, but since it's your money, I want to make sure you get what you want. :)

Drawing Style:
anime 1 - typical anime style (varies widely; specify style details or go with my choice of "typical anime" style based on the image)
anime 2 - my anime style (a little more gritty and realistic) example example example example
semi-realistic - more realistic proportions (as close to real as I can get it) example example example

Coloring Style:
note: a normal piece will have a little leeway in this respect, since certain elements require different shading techniques
painted - rough shaded, emulating a painted feel example example example
airbrushed - smooth shading example example example
cel-style - solid shading (as in animation) example example

Oekaki has the following options:
tones - pixelated screentone-like effects example example
solid coloring - the oekaki version of cel-style example example example
soft coloring - oekaki airbrush/painted feel example example

Lineart Style:
with lines - lines included for a more cartoony look example example example
without lines - relies on shading to convey shape (more "realistic") example example example

Content Rules
While I don't place any content restrictions, if you somehow manage to supply something I feel uncomfortable with drawing, I will not accept the commission. In other words: hentai is fine, but you get no guarantee I'll draw it. In addition, I will draw commissioned fanart, but I prefer original characters, particularly roleplaying or webcomic characters. :)

Please note, what you are paying me for is my time and effort in creating my rendition of your request. If you have a picture in mind, it will not turn out exactly like you envision, because you're paying me for my vision. Got that? I'll do my best to comply with your wishes, but there will be no refunds for the complaint "it's not exactly like I thought it would be..." Sorry! I do my best!

Ordering
To order, simply e-mail me with a description of what it is you want and links to any available reference pics. Please be detailed; you get what you describe. Naturally, reference pics make things easier if you have them, but if you don't, here are some tips on writing description. Remember to include what style you want, and what medium (if you have a preference)!

Once I have decided to accept your commission (you'll receive a response within five days) I will e-mail you back informing you that I have begun work, or asking for additional information. The better your information the first time around, the sooner I can begin work.

During various points in the process, I may e-mail you with in-progress work for your approval. Please reply promptly to expedite completion of the work.

Upon completion, I will inform you the work is finished, and you will send payment. (Check, money order, or Paypal.) Once I have received payment, you will receive the finished piece in the medium of your choice (CD, digital transmission, or original hardcopy).

There are two exceptions to this payment process. For Oekaki work, payment must be in advance. For digital art, half or full payment must be in advance. (Your choice.) This is because once I have completed work, the version I post in my gallery is the same version you get. If you were allowed to pay afterwards, you could simply put in a commission, wait for me to complete the work, and then not pay, collecting the finished piece from my gallery. Do not send payment until I have accepted the commission and instructed you to do so!

That should cover it! I look forward to working with you!
