History:
Meryl Raina Dean was born in Roanoke, Virginia to two loving parents by
the names of Merle and Camron Dean. She is the younger sister of Lily. Her
mother was tired but neither the less proud.
Meryl doesn't know her father very well because he tends to be always at work; instead Meryl grew up with her sister and her busy mother. They did a lot of things together...but Meryl doesn't remember them because she was only 2 when it all happened.
Meryl started to grow up and was beginning to realize what was going on
around her, she realized that her father when he was home was mean and her
mother was always busy with the family business to get away. She started to go
to North Cross and soon found out about swimming on one of her class field
trips. She soon took up swimming lessons and went everyday after school
until one day.
She was swimming and she realized that she swam out to far and she couldn't
touch the bottom of the pool anymore, her forgetting everything she learned
began to panic as she trashed her arms around screaming for help. She got help
but was teased by the rest of the class so she quit and looked for something
else that was interesting and that was dancing, she took up fencing until she
was ready to swim again and added swimming to her already busy schedule.
At the age of 10 Meryl found out her father got a new contract and was forced to move elsewhere. Meryl yelled at her father and said that she wasn't going, she was going to stay here with the rest of the family. He decided to decline the contract and continue with work at the local business but he knew that he started the daughter hates father relationship. Meryl became a cold person and didn't allow anyone to get to know her except for one person, Michelle. The two became close friends and did everything together including joining the schools swim team every winter. After a few months Meryl warmed up a little and made a few friends.
Meryl grew up in a life that she doesn't want to remember so instead of looking in the past she looks at right now and looks forward into a bright future. Meryl hasn't changed much in 6 years; the only thing that changed is she is extroverted and a bit less cold.
Personality:
Meryl is a very mysterious person to all those around her. When you are around her, she barely ever speaks but when she does her voice has a calm soothing tone to it, which makes people feel more comfortable. She is a sensitive person and will share her pity to those who need it.
Though she is a sensitive and emotional person, she has the darker side of life known as jealousy. Meryl though she doesn't show it can be a very jealous person, she usually smiles and says "that's nice" and walks away grumbling something like ' he should be mine' or 'Why her?' She can also be resentful; she takes insults personally and will some times yell "I RESENT THAT!"
Meryl thinks before she acts or says...but sometimes she slips and ends up hurting someone's feelings, making her feel bad for the rest of the day. Meryl likes to be on time and is a very determined person; she is also forceful and will take action to make sure something is done right and on time.
At school Meryl looks and acts calm, but on the inside she is a volcano waiting to erupt. People always make the same mistake and try to get to know her, but end up failing because she will usually give the cold shoulder and ignore them. Meryl is a cold person that chooses her friends wisely, she likes to hang around in a group of people that aren't snobs but nice caring people that will teach her how to be kind and learn to live life.
Overall Meryl is a mysterious, extroverted person that tends to be cold hearted to most people.
Appearance
Meryl has black hair and navy blue eyes with smooth fair skin and a slight
hint of freckles on her cheeks. Her hair is a midnight black color that goes
down to her chin except for her bangs, which are parted in the center and go
down to her shoulders and the tips are blue. Her eyes are a dark navy blue and
medium sized with thin arched eyebrows. She has a small nose with a small silver
stud on one side because she got her nosed pierce. She has a small mouth with
thin lips that are always frowning except for the rare case of her smiling.
Meryl usually wears dark or cool shades; a dark blue t-shirt under a black
sweater jacket and a pair of black flares with dress shoes. She is about
5'2" and is thin with a normal weight for her height and has a small
athletic build because of sport she is in.
She is right handed and has small hands with long finger and nails that tend to
break once every month. She has a calm soothing voice that makes people feel
comfortable around her.

Bodysuit: A white one-piece sleeveless swimsuit.
Top: a see-through ocean blue vest that always remains open because there are no
buttons.
Front bow: A sky blue bow located on her vest, it is a top button for her vest.
Back bow: Wraps around her waist and ties in the back. A long sky blue bow that
extends to the floor.
Choker: An ocean blue chocker with a silver dragonhead in the center.
Gloves: A pair of silver gauntlets that go around her wrist. In the center there
is a Sapphire.
Skirt: A long see-through ocean blue skirt that goes to her ankles, the skirt
splits at the thigh making it easier to fight in.
Shoes: A pair of ocean blue sandals
Tiara: The tiara is two small silver dragonheads holding a sapphire.
Transformation
Meryl takes out a small silver ring with a blue gem in the middle.
She takes it out and yells "Mercury Planetary Power, Make Up!"
while she holds it out in front of her. The ring vanishes are turns into water.
The water begins to wrap around her arms until it surrounds her completely like
a cocoon. A huge dragonhead appears above the water cocoon and it begins
to dive and turn into water. The water dragon crashes into the cocoon making the
water vanish, leaving
Meryl standing in a pool of water crying. She wipes the tears away as the tiara
and gauntlets appear. She does a spin and goes on her knees in a praying
position.
Powers
Water Dragoon Smash: Sailor Mercury puts her hands above head as a small bubble of water appears; she does a small twirl and claps her hands together making the bubble disappear. She winks as she draws a line in front of her she yells "Water Dragoon Smash!" A huge tidal wave appears and goes toward the person, the wave turns into a person in dragon armor flying forward, the dragoon slashes at the person and vanishes into a bunch of little bubbles.
This attack is funny at first but is quite deadly at the end. One can dodge this move by jumping out of the way when the dragon comes or jumping to the side. The wave is huge, about 50 ft so it would be hard to dodge unless you're prepared for it. If you get hit dead on the wave will carry you a few feet away and break a rib, if it hits you arms or legs it won't do much...it might give you a few bruises. The worse that can happen is falling over unconscious.
Sign of Mercury: Sailor Mercury walks forward with her hands by her side, when she is close enough she'll give a cold smile and began to draw Mercury's sign in front of their face. When it is finished she'll yell "Sign of Mercury!" The symbol glows and a dragon appears and uses it breath attack. It disappears right away after its finish.
This attack is her hardest one to dodge but it's quite possible. One can jump to the side of jump above Sailor Mercury before she gets a chance to summon it. The attack doesn't hurt but can cause one to become poisoned.
Guardian
Mercury's guardian is a snake. Why a snake? WELL the strongest water dragon
was a serpent and so is a snake...*how stupid do I sound* Mercury's guardian is
called Hercules and he is your common green grass snake *no he's a cobra*. He
goes up to her knee, which really freaks her out cause no grass snake is that
tall. He is all green with a brown stomach. Hercules is known for his coldness
and his obsession with scaring people. He is quite and loves to sleep the day
away not caring about anything that goes on around him unless Mercury is in
trouble then he'll lend a hand *ummm tail? * Lavina is a pleasant guardian
even when he's cold, always helpful in someway with a heart and soul as strong
as the man he is named after.
All together Hercules wants to like his hero and help save the world from
evil. He stays with Meryl at all times to make sure that she isn't in any danger
or the other way around.
Explanation
Mercury was the messenger-god of Jupiter, and was the god of games, of business,
and of story telling. He was the offspring of the god Jupiter and Maia. Maia
herself was and one of the Pleiades, daughters of the titan Atlas. Mercury was
identified with the Greek god Hermes.
Why I picked this character is one of the many mysteries in my life... well not
really. I wanted to join a Sailor Moon style RPG so I went to Anime Web turnpike
and started to look at all the sailor moon rpgs that were full or villains were
left, the saw this one and entered it, I looked at the characters and this one
stood out.... so I picked it and here I am today...applying for it.
Hercules is a carter on the moon. I read it over and over again and the name
Hercules stood out, Hercules is the man who killed the sea creature Hydra and I
thought well...it works, the man who killed Hydra is the guardian of its
element. Though I'm not sure how the crater got its name... every site I've been
to didn't say anything....

'Everyone always told me to never give up, to hold on to what I got, to
stand strong and never and they mean never give up on my dreams and goals,"
thought a young 16 year old girl as she lay in bed with her eyes closed ' That
really helped me the day I fought my first Yoma.' She opened her eyes to
reveal two stunning navy blue eyes, ' I can't sleep,' she thought 'I know I'll
go for a walk.' The young girl got out of bed and got dressed. She put on a
black pair of pants and a silver top with a black jacket; she put on a pair of
black leather boots and headed to her make-up table. She looked in the mirror as
she brushed her short black hair; she put the brush down and opened the door
that lead to the hallway ' If I can pass my parents room.... I'll...I'll be home
free' she thought. She walked pass her parents room and headed downstairs and
out the front door, "Where can I go," she said to herself "I know
the park!" She took out her Discman and headed to the park.
She walked to the park and walked along one of the many trails in the woods until she found a swing set, she sat down and turned her Discman on and went to song #2, the song filled her ears as she remembered all that happened the day she fought her first Yoma.

"That still didn't answer my question, your so confusing at times!"

As they walked home they heard a scream in the distance "Ready Meryl?"
asked Hercules
"Ready" replied Meryl as she ran down the street to see what was going
on. When she got there she saw an odd looking creature,
"It's a Yoma!" cried Meryl
"Yesss, Now transssssform!" yelled Hercules
"Right," said Meryl " Mercury Planetary Power, Make
Up"
"And let the fight begin" said Hercules as Sailor Mercury jumped
infront of the woman
