FAQ

(Format originally borrowed from the Sailor Angels page.)

All right, so you wanna join this RPG, or at least learn a little about it? Well, you've come to the right place! Just read this little FAQ, and you'll know quite a bit more, and then you can truly decide whether this is the type of RPG you could want to be in. The FAQ has been updated for posterity, so now it has twice as much caffeine as before!

The Warriors of Euphoria RPG is a completely new, completely original RPG. NO characters exist here except for BRAND NEW people (or creatures) created entirely from the mind of the members of the RPG.

Who are the Warriors of Euphoria?
The Warriors of Euphoria live on the planet of Euphoria. Each Euphorian is from a seperate kingdom, and each kingdom is named after an Angel, for according to legend, Angels themselves once lived on Euphoria... but during the Great Battles when Lucifer and his angels rebelled against the Ruling One, the planet was abandoned by the Angels. Whether the legend is true or not, we'll never know... but each Kingdom is named after an Angel, nonetheless. The ruling family in the kingdom of Tradkiel are supposedly Direct Descendants of Angels. Well, whatever's true, the Angels went away a thousand generations ago - the world's getting on quite spiffily without them. If you hadn't guessed, this is a mostly technology-deficient fantasy setting.

Where do they live?
Each Warrior has their own native Kingdom, and lives there until discovery (and may live there after being found as well.) But if the Warriors ever restore Tradkiel as the Ruling Kingdom, then each Warrior will have a special Palace in Tradkiel. With a free drinks machine and bubblegum. So, therefore, restore Tradkiel if you want the bubblegum and soda.

When does this take place?
In the past...in the future...who knows? Euphoria's time runs entirely different from Earth's.

If that is true, than how do I do the Birthdate and age?
Age: How old they would appear to be, in Earth Years. Please note that this doesn't mean you need to put "28 in earth years" on your app. We know what you mean.
Birthdate: There are 15 seasons in Euphoria's year, with 53 days in each season. (Their year is much longer than ours, yes) so for birthdate, put something like '37th day of the 9th season'. We don't use conventional time or zodiac.

Important Places?
Tradkiel - The Ruling Kingdom. Taken over when the Swarm attacked, the Warriors of Euphoria are fighting to get Tradkiel back, and to then restore the Tradkiel Family Line to the Throne. As a Warrior you're not forced to actually care about whether this happens or not, but you're going to know about Tradkiel unless you're mentally deficient.
Natas - The Swarm's Techno-City that hovers directly over Tradkiel, perfect in both protect Retupmoc (Swarm's Leader) and in keeping the Warriors away from Tradkiel. Seeing as how the Warriors have so far mostly been comprised of teenagers, they could just as easily keep them away by announcing clothing sales on the other side of the planet.
Canaan - the mother rebellion base founded by the Warrior of War, hidden deep in Zadkiel and the long-forgotten site of ancient angel communications. More detail coming later, but this is where you're going to be illin' wit yo' homie-warriors on tha hood, yo.

What do the Warrior of Euphoria's uniforms look like?
Guess what, folks? There are NO regulations on uniforms! If you want your character to fight in the nude, you can make them! (whether you are accepted or not is another story, but...) The Warriors' clothes should reflect where they are coming from, though. The Warrior who is from Sachiel (Sea), for example, shouldn't be wearing clothes that are bright red. But other than that, there aren't any rules. So have fun with this!

What is the history behind all this?
Go to the History of the Warriors page.

Who is the leader of the Warriors?
Now, I know some of you will find this 'unfair,' but the leader of the Warriors will be the Maiden of Tradkiel. As Lee is already playing her, the leader has been determined. Sorry for those of you who want to be - BUT, as there will be a _lot_ of Warriors in this RPG, there may be something like a co-leader later on. Frankly, as the Warriors are downright nomadic, you're not going to be recieving many orders from the Maiden of Tradkiel anyway for a long, long time.

Will there be guardians?
Both yes and no. Each character in the RPG will have the Angel of their Kingdom, who may / may not, over time, become an accessible being to be used in the RPG. As for guardians, as in animals, you can have pet animals, and they can talk or sing or tap dance (I don't care!) but if you meant guardian as in Luna from Sailormoon, then no.

Are the Warriors Guys or Girls?
Both. However, the majority seem to be female.

Why?
Girls just wanna have fun. Well, actually, namely because the Warriors power passes mostly to the women in the family, and so you're going to have to get rid of all XX chromosomes in the group in order to have the power passed to a man. It's even been said to favour female cousins rather than direct sons of the last Warrior.

Who are the Bad Guys?
The Bad Guys are one large group, called the Swarm. The Swarm itself divides into two separate groups, one ruled by Retupmoc, who plans the attacks on Euphoria and lives in Natas, and Onhcet (the stronger of the two) who maintains control over the galaxies that the Swarm has already conquered. Retupmoc and Onhcet both have Commanders as well, who in turn command the Strike Forces that carry out the work of the Swarm.

Who is the leader of the Bad Guys?
The leaders of the Swarm are Onhcet and Retupmoc. Retupmoc lives in the city of Natas, above Tradkiel, and is the one the Warriors are most likely to deal with. (in the first/second series, at least) Onhcet, on the other hand, maintains the Swarm's entire empire... she is much less involved with Euphoria at this time. We think she's busy playing Pong.

What is the Swarm after?
I thought it was obvious. Complete Universal Domination. They're cool that way.

What the heck is the Monarchy?
The Monarchy is the Warrior of Euphoria's decision group. We vote new members in, approve new chapters, promote/demote members, etc.

Can I join the Monarchy?
Well, since Lee's hiatus, the Monarchy has kind of fallen into Communism. Now, all the members of the RPG make the decisions, approve new members, etc, etc. It's much simpler that way, and doesn't shove truckloads of responsibility on to everyone else. However, just to keep you crazies out of mischief, old-monarchy member Emiko and her compadre Tami (that's me!) will be keeping an eye on things. But otherwise... onward, Comrade.

Does the Swarm have to be in the submission story, or does it have to be about the first time they transformed?
Nope, no way, only if you want them to. ^_^ The submission story can have your character doing whatever the heck you darn please.

More questions will be added as I think of them ... or as people ask them.
